information do I need in order for Royal to provide me a quote?

of service, the date(s) of service, and your starting and
ending destinations. Please visit our

How
do I reserve a bus?

order. Final payments must be received
ten (10) days before your service date(s).
What is Royal's cancellation policy?
Cancellation
notice must be confirmed thirty (30) days before your service
date in order to waive a cancellation fee.
Your ($150.00) deposit will apply as the cancellation
fee. Your deposit is non-refundable
if cancellation is made less than thirty (30) days before
your confirmed service date(s).
What is Royal’s customer
payment policy?
Royal requires
a deposit amount of ($150.00) to secure your service charter
order. Royal accepts Visa, MasterCard,
American Express, Cash, Money Orders,
Cashier Checks, and company checks.
Personal checks are accepted only when final payments
are received at minimum two (2) weeks before the service date.
What size vehicles do you have?
Royal has a vehicle
fleet to suit all group and travel needs. We offer twenty-five
(25) and fourteen (14) passenger minibuses; thirty-one (31),
thirty-three (33), and thirty-five (35) passenger midbusses;
and fifty-seven (57) passenger deluxe motorcoaches.
Additionally, Royal offers a forty-seven (47) passenger motorcoaches
for lower-budget groups.
Are
all vehicles and drivers licensed and insured?
Yes! All
of Royal's vehicles meet the insurance requirements set
forth by the State of Michigan. All drivers meet the
licensing, physical, and drug-screening requirements set forth
by the State of Michigan. Drivers maintain current Commercial
Drivers Licenses (CDL) with endorsements for carrying passengers.
All Royal professional drivers and staff are employed with
our company; none are sub-contractors.
Does Royal have "minimums"?
Yes.
Royal applies a
minimum service charge providing up to four (4) hours
of service for the supply of all sizes of vehicles.
Can
I split the (4) four-hour minimum into two (2) two-hour services?
Royal quotes all
pricing with a consistent tariff rate. Royal's sales
associates will address the unique service needs of our customers
and provide custom pricing suited to the service requested.
If
I charter a bus for an event, do I pay for the time I am at
the event?
Yes. You pay for
service from the time you are picked up through the time you
are dropped off, regardless if you are using the vehicle the
entire time or not. However, you will find that this
is less expensive than chartering two one-way services from
any bus/charter company.
Can
I bring food or beverages aboard the vehicle?
Yes. Royal
must be notified in advance of your intentions to bring food
and beverages on board so we may take any necessary actions
to prepare the bus (i.e. garbage bags, etc.). However,
Royal vehicles must be returned in the same state of cleanliness
as when chartered, or the charter customer is subject to a
clean-up fee of $75.00. Beverages may be consumed on
Royal vehicles only when brought onto the vehicle in a contained
cooler or self-storage container. We ask that all beverages
be kept in coolers until such time as they are consumed.
Beverages must be in cans or plastic containers.
NO GLASS PLEASE!
As Royal is the
designated driver, we ask that all alcoholic consumption be
done in moderation.
Is
smoking allowed on the vehicles?
Smoking is not
allowed in vehicles. Please work with us to insure a
smoke-free vehicle for all Royal customers and employees.
The customer is responsible and will be charged for smoke
damage and/or burn holes in carpeting and upholstery.
Are
animals permitted on the vehicles?
The transporting
of animals is not permitted on any of Royal's vehicles
at any time.
Do
I have to pay the driver a gratuity?
Driver gratuity
is encouraged but not required. Royal suggests a gratuity
of 10-15% which can be added into the cost of the charter
at the customers' request.
